SIRDS(Social Integrated Rural Development Society) is an NGO (non-governmental organization) The ultimate aim of SIRDS is community development, through the self-sufficiency of the community. The members of the society found in the motivation, mobilization, and facilitating in the issues of development of the targeted groups - Farmers, Women and Children and other backward classes. Women Empowerment has been the prime area of work.
We disbursed Albendazole tablets to students at Government High School at Gowribidnur Taluk, Chikkaballapur District. It is essential that students were properly protected against communicable diseases and other infections which could upset their academic performances. A lot of children have been affected by anemic,nutrition deficiency and other disorders that need timely treatment.
With the support of the Govt. of A.P Department of Education, Many school dropouts were identified and given coaching in an organized set up on residential lines. All these school dropouts were mainstreamed into school. Food, clothing, and books were provided along with residential facilities to these children.Girl children were given special attention under the program..
